Full Job Description
Seeking Certified Home Health Aides to work independently as private contractors for Respite Care Program clients throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC. Payment shall be made directly to the Home Attendant (via cash or check) daily or at the end of each work week. Flexible schedules and job locations available. Home Health Aide duties include but are not limited to:
Personal Care: Bathing, toileting and dressing.
Ambulation: Assist in/out of bed and from bed to chair or wheelchair. Escort to doctors, clinics or outdoors, etc.
Meal Preparation and Feeding.
Shopping and Errands.
Light Housekeeping: Maintain orderly appearance of home (i.e. wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, change linens, laundry, iron shirts or pants, surface cleaning- kitchen & bathroom, dusting, vacuum).
